Bubble guppy

Little sister was dying for a mermaid dress. She begged and begged and I had lots of fabric left, so I sewed one while she was sleeping the other day. She was very happy to wake up to this little number...
PS: If you have been around my tiny mermaid for more than 10 seconds you know that she is quite possibly the most difficult human being in the universe to catch for a photo...

Clippies

I saw these clips on Etsy, but when I went to order one, they weren't available anymore. When I learned to crochet I decided I'd try to make one and it was the easiest thing in the uni. Crochet a couple rows and wrap yarn around the middle and add a clip...so easy, but oh, so cute!
A little credit where credit is due: She doesn't sell the clippies here anymore, but her shop is really cute.

Stop motion

When I was in college I took a film making class, and I really became obsessed with it. I sat in the editing room for hours upon hours upon hours. Lately, my girl and I have been having fun making little movies with her drawings. It's been super fun getting back into it and trying to remember how to do any of this editing action. Here is our first stop motion, I think there will be many many more to come!
PS: This is REALLY easy, and a fun rainy day activity for you and your kiddos...All you need is a digital camera (still not video), a computer with any video editing software (I use iMovie), and a little artist (you can also use toys instead of drawings). This link helped me a lot...
